LOOT BOX NO.1 draws inspiration from popular video games, specifically the world of GTA: San Andreas. Playing with the idea of the found (digital) object, the piece lifts a background asset from the game and reframes it as the focal point - meticulously painted in 1cm x 1cm squares to mimic the appearance of pixels.
