£1 Green Scratchcard is made from 100 x £1 National Lottery scratchcards. The cards have been left unscratched and therefore may contain the winning symbols, with prizes up to £100,000.

 

This artwork is made in consideration of our shared partiality to hope, luck and chance. Given the current economic landscape and the cost-of-living crisis, the ‘dream’ for many is financial stability and freedom. By using cards which are unscratched as the material for my artwork -  the result is suspended and the outcome, unresolved - leaving us to question the purpose of this object.
